Hi all,
I was reading the other day a book by the
"Oak Table" - a group of Oracle gurus. The
basic thrust of their message (at least the
parts I read in the three hours in the bookshop)
was that one of Oracle's key advantages of
other RDBMS's was that Oracle implemented a
complex system of metric gathering.
I notice that Borland appear to be doing the
same with Interbase. What is the status of
Firebird in this regard, and are there any
plans to implement (more) fine-grained metrics
at any time in the future?
