We think firebirdSQL will need a similar roadmap
with timetable of the release versions (When there
will be a V1.5 when a V2.0 when will be the branch
,alpha betta ..etc)

There is a discussion about sticking XML into the
firebird engine . The solution will be to make
a good engine (similar to gecko in mozilla) and to
build extensions on top of it .
