Hi,

is there a way to use the tgz-files with the sources as a base to
synchronize the cvs tree to? I tried unpacking the sources and then
checking out into the same directory, but it keeps telling me to move
the sources away because "they are in the way". I don't want to
download all that stuff again (uncompressed ;() if not absolutely
necessary.
