No, it would be original code. But it wouldn't be able to be compiled
on anything other than Win32.

That is, until Kylix comes out (if ever). And then it would be
compilable on Win32 and Linux/Intel _only_. And you can forget about
InterBase on Sun, Linux/Alpha, HP, AIX, NetWare...

As strange as it seems, it might be better and easier to negotiate with
Dale to get the full source... I can't believe I said that!
