The problem. Someone needs to be able to do incremental backups. Right now
we only have the capability to back up the entire database or run some sort
of replication. For whatever reason there seems to be a need to make
incremental backups and recovery to some arbitrary defined timestamp.

Other databases have this capability so I presume a solution is possible.

As far as I can tell only two questions remain. Should IB also offer this
feature? If so how should it be implemented.
