Hello:
Recently I changed a field from Character 1024 NONE to VarChar 2048,
OCTETS, so that I could properly store binary characters, especially
Chr(0).
I am using IBOQuery and the column type for what it considers this 2048
varchar field to be a blob, is VarByte, but when I try to set the
BlobType setting there is no ftVarByte. I have tried ftTypedBinary,
ftVariant, ftGraphic.
Keep getting error saying it expects VarByte setting.
Any suggestions on which setting I should use?
Thank you,
Chuck
