Subject Re: [IBO] A way to use Str2Str in SELECTS, via OnColumnCoding or something similar?
Author Chuck Belanger
Hi, Jason and others:

I need to reask this question, since the ColumnCoding routine works with
SELECTS and not with UPDATES/INSERTS. I had it backwards.

It seems to me that I could use the IBO str2str routine in passing
parameters to the UPDATE or INSERT to achieve what I am looking for,
which is a possible end run around the VPS installed Firebird not
accessing the UDF library FreeUDFLib.dll which has F_STR2STR.

Thank you,

Chuck
