thanks for your reply. While statements without the "AS" in front of the alias name do work, I can't say if this solves the problem, because the error occurs randomly and because I'm doing it with "AS" very very often at different places too. Even the same function works with "AS" most of the time, but often it doesn't, so I think using "AS" is not the problem.

Will provide some more details in reply to Jason's message shortly, maybe we can find the reason.
