I update the IBO 5.3.5 , was with the version 4.9, and the system is very slow.

For exemple: I have a table of a record with 253 fields and she was very slow to open. I use LOCATE() in various parts of my system and it seems that they are not finding the information correctly.

Should I change something to return to normal?

There have been many changes that I should change the way of programming?

In many other things the system just got better with the update.
