fbclient is loaded externally as a dynamic library, so a different version of it won't require any code changes; just replace the fbclient.dll (and update the DB as necessary, of course).





Do make sure to test your program with the new version before actually putting the upgrade into production, though! It might end up causing unforeseen issues otherwise...
