First, I want to thank you for the report on the Firebird Conference a few months ago. I also wonder if you're following Jim Starkey's career - he is developing a new database - NuoDB. Would be nice to have IBObjects for that project.
Okay, the problem. Make a new Intraweb project. Drop an IBOdatabase (or IB_database or IB_Connection) component on the Usersession. Compile, click on the browser button to launch the application and whammo! an access violation. Same thing in 32 or 64 bit compile. Doesn't matter if the servercontroller is set to ComInitialization none, normal or multithreaded.
Oddly, sometimes it works.
