Hi All,
I've made the changes I mentioned last night available on my
web-site: http://www.telesiscomputing.com.au/enhcomp.htm
Enh v2.2.5 is an accumulation of minor fixes to the Enh v2
release, intended for those people still using Delphi 2007
or previous.
Enh v3.0.1 is my new experimental release that builds under
Delphi 2009 and later and should hopefully work with IBO v4.9
and IBO v5 (although some minor unit name changes may be
needed to uses clauses depending on specific versions).
A small number of people have already compiled from this
source, so my hope is that anyone that can adjust that the
the base packages for themselves will be able to install and
get it working under D2009, DXE and DXE2. (For hints on how
to set the search directories etc, I suggest you take a look
at the settings of the IBO packages you use - particularly
the IBO---vrt package.)
The hope/intention is that the base functionality you had
under Enh v2 will remain working under Enh v3, just that it
now works with Delphi 2009 unicode strings.
There are also a number of other fun features, such as the
date control that looks and works much like the new Windows
Vista/7 one, and some other fancy bits that you can try out.
I've even made a start on embedded highlighting that might,
in the future, enable spell-checking or similar.
There is no help file at this time. Please read the
__readme__.txt file included in that zip for more information.
If there is enough interest in this I will consider making the
source available via sourceforge or similar, since I don't have
much free time to work on the fiddly bits of making help files,
package files for to work with all the different possible
combinations of Delphi and IBO. Feedback would be appreciated.
