Lester,
SVN repositories for FPC and Lazarus. IBO is very much in lock-step with
them these days. The non-visual stuff should be able to work in 0.9.30
readily since most of the work has been on the visual side of things. I have
not tested against 0.9.30 to verify if the code currently compiles there. I
suspect it should.
I have checked out FPC 2.5.1 and exported it to a separate directory and
built it fresh on my Windows and Linux machines.
I have checked out Lazarus 0.9.31 and I work with it directly (no export to
a separate folder structure). This way as Lazarus evolves to accommodate my
needs, I am right in there with the flow of things. I keep up to date with
Lazarus development.
If you like, I will get you access to my IBO development SVN so that you can
also have a very efficient way to keep up with the pace of development IBO
is undergoing right now.
I am very fortunate to have a good friend in the Lazarus development circle
very excited and very active in doing all the mundane details of the
conversion of IBO as well as spearheading getting needed changes in FPC/Laz
committed to their development tree.
I needed quite a bit of help getting oriented and functioning in this manner
and Wassim stands prepared to help others that want to get involved. In
fact, we are hopeful others will get involved. I will help as best I can to
get people up and running with the latest of all these tools.
Thanks,
Jason LeRoy Wharton
