A couple of times it has cleared on its own, and other we needed to do a stop and start of the Interbase 2009 server. This is all Windows XP, Server 2003 and Citrix. I have no further insight to share.

Mine are happening just often enough to annoy the customers involved, but
without any logic to track down the cause. I was starting to think that remote
access via VNC was part of the equation, and since disabling that both sites
have been better, but not 'fixed'.

I'm on Firebird 2.1 and the server carries on fine accessed from apache, it is
only the IBO application that is freezing, but I am seeing it clear itself as
well. The logging for that app reports a 'restart' when it wakes back up.

I am beginning to wonder if the problem may be the server end - one site is on
linux and another on windows which is why I ignored that originally - but I am
now wondering if it is something on the connection that is 'freezing'. I would
have expected IBO to time out though - rather than lock up. If I kill the
process and restart it everything comes back to life and just works.

Anybody got ANY thoughts on what I can check next?
