Hello all, this is a repost. I originally posted this in response to
another topic but didn't receive a response and thought I should start
a new topic.
I would like to setup an archiving DB system. Could the IBO replicator
be (TIB_RPL_Sync)setup to replicate all DB actions except when a
specific user is logged on?
The reason for this question is that I would like to replicate my
production DB but would like to clear "old" data on a monthly basis
and would like the replicator to ignore the deletes that are initiated
by a "maintenance" DB user. This way the archive/replicated DB will
retain the data that I want to clear out of my production DB for
speed/maintenance reasons.
Thanks all,
Branden Johnson
