In a previous post "Actual Field Names" I asked about ordering
TIB_Grid by columns using data from a TIB_Query. Grid column titles
use field names or aliases for fields names. Set and Luc led me to a
good solution using a feature of IBO I was unaware of.
The context of my question is this. In developing a Delphi/IBO
application for a mental health practice, much client status data
has been accumulated from assessment instruments. Looking at the
data shows where therapies have been effective and where
improvements can be made. Researchers want miscellaneous information
so I have provided a simple Query Management form for entering,
editing, cloning, deleting, running and presenting data using SQL
queries. The queries can use parameters. The form is applicable to
any Delphi/IBO application.
There are other forms like this. I do not know if they are easily
accessible. Others IBO users might welcome references to these forms?
If anyone here wants a modified version of this Delphi/IBO form then
post a request here and I'll make it available in the IBO file area.
