I'm porting is 11 years old, has over a hundred separate executables,
hundreds of database instances scattered around the country, and the
codebase must compile to run with either BDE (and Paradox!) or IBO.

Despite all this, I think I'll go with restructuring the key on these
tables, since they all need it anyway.
