as you have already read, Helen already explained this little mistery
:-) I didn't even remember that old bug (I have used D2, D3, D5 and D7
before BDS 2006) and that's why your two versions of the code gave the
same result for me in BDS 2006 (I have tested it with a small console
application :-)
