Thanks, Helen.
I tried using the installer and allowing it to install into the
environment, but it didn't happen. It did create a D6 folder, but it
was empty.
I then tried to compile the eval packages, which yields the
missing .dcu error. I added the C:\IBO4 to the search path, but no
joy.
The installer is the one that was available as of last night (4_b_c?).
