Just a thought...
Check for the existence of AntiSpyware, AntiTrojan and/or
AntiVirus software on the systems and try disabling them
to see if the software will run.
I know that ZoneAlarm Pro v6 is now out with AntiSpyware
monitoring and scanning integrated. I would have expected
the user to receive warnings about suspicious activity if
this were the problem but various "automatic" modes could
perhaps be identifying your program wronging as a bad
program and just killing it.
Also - check what the program does on your own system if
there is nothing for it to talk to. If it aborts then
check the firewall settings on those other machines.
Just guessing really, but I think it must be something
along these lines if the program is working on some
machines and not others.
