What is the transaction isolation in your application? - tiCommitted
(default transaction)

If the application is restarted, is that record visible or not? - No (2
weeks now)

On the face of the above one would assume a query problem, but the query is
too basic to cause this also query works elsewhere

I problem can only be in the IB_Query, IB_Grid, or Transaction - but where?
