[IBO] IB_Components problem

Using

Select Item_ID, Upper(Item_Name) Item_Name from LookupTable

as the ListSource in a DBLookup using Item_Name as the ListField

aborts in a SQL error after hitting a few search keys with a rather intering
multiple nested Upper(Upper(Upper(Upper ...(Item_Name SQL Query,
ending in a Starting With Upper(Item_Name)
as part of the horizontal refinement.
