Oh, and more...
If you are running Classic, your applications can NOT connect to it using
the IPServer (i.e. cpLocal). You must use TCP/IP local loopback (localhost
as server, protocol cpTCP_IP). Make sure that the machine knows about
localhost, by ensuring that this entry exists in the
%system%\drivers\etc\hosts file:
127.0.0.1 localhost
