Subject Enh and DBak source are now freeware
Author Geoff Worboys
Hi All,

Please excuse this interruption to your normal viewing.

I just thought I would let everyone know that the source code
for the Telesis Computing Enhanced Components is now available
as freeware (it was previously "Trustware").
http://www.telesiscomputing.com.au/enhcomp.htm

Similarly the source code for DBak (alternative Firebird backup
utility) has also been released as freeware (the programs have
always been free, but the source code was previously
"Trustware"). http://www.telesiscomputing.com.au/dbk.htm

Each package contains a licence.txt file that explains what I
mean by "freeware" (the products remain copyright to Telesis
Computing Pty Ltd, but can now be used for commercial
developments without payment of any fee).

I do intend to continue maintaining this software if problems
are found. But I have no immediate plans to expand or extend
the components at this time. Hence the decision to release
the source code.

As far as I am aware there have been no registration fees paid
on either of these products in over 9 months.

If you have paid for a registration since 1-Jan-2004 and would
like a refund then please contact Jason - who will hopefully
have the details, I know that I do not have any such records.

Jason and/or Helen, please ensure that the purchase links on
the IBO community website are removed.

I would also like to thank those people that have supported
these components in the past, both financially and through
other forms of contribution. Both products are definitely
better for your input. Thank you.
