Subject [IBO] New User: converting from Pdox do IB/IBO
Author Listas
Dear Friends
IB 6 / Delphi 7 Pro / IBO 4.3 Trial

I´m new with IB and IBO.
I converted my Paradox/BDE do IB with IBO. In datamodule, all acess are
with TIBOTable.
I have a table with 50000 records, with a primary key (field: NUMBER)
A findkey in this table is very, very slow.
What is wrong with FindKey in IBO?
Are there some new approach to realize this search? StoredProcedures?
Who can help me?
I have few time to convert this application.

Thanks in advance

Have you tried putting the dataset into Edit mode? The LookupCombo
isn't
visible in Browse...that's why you have KeyDescLinks.
