just use fbembed.dll instead of fbclient.dll (and tell IBO about it,
of course) and all the local connection strings will be handled by the
embedded server. All remote connection strings (including
localhost:name) will get forwarded to an available Firebird server on
the specified host. Terrific stuff. Try it.
