Like I said, the error as I understand it from your description has been fixed and I posted the fix for it on the list a couple
weeks ago. I'm reasonably sure it will resolve the problem you raised. The only way I would know for sure is if you
provided a sample app. In this case that probably isn't necessary.
At this point these are your choices, go back the the latest version with my fix applied or wait until the next sub-release.
Please let me know if you have other ideas or concerns.

Jason,
I did not send you a test app and I have gone back to version aa so I
can't create one. You can see easily see the problem yourself by just
creating a project using the Employee.gdb in the Borland Shared/Data
folder. Using a tib_query (select discount from sales),
tib_datasource, and a
tib_grid component on the form, tying them all together.
The "Discount" field in the Sales table is float. Just by opening the
table in the ide you should get a "0.100000001490116 is not a valid
integer value" exception. That is the error that I am talking about.
