Did you solve this? The post is old.
If you took the installation defaults for XP SP2 you installed a
firewall on your PC with strong settings. Try removing the firewall
using
start -
control panel -
security center -
Magage security settings for -
Windows firewall - OFF (to begin with)
If this solves the problem you can tune finer the securiy setings.
