For me, my method for searching is putting the dataset into search mode.
Then from their I can search almost any field I want.
The steps are.
1. put the dataset in search mode.
2. on the following ibo controls, tpye in the things you want to search
criteria.
3. then post the dataset, then a search will be perform.

Other people here might have better suggestion. :-)
