We have written a custom one,
but we haven't proven it yet. ie. in real world situations.
I thought IBObjects may have a platform upon which the object
could be faster.

Ours is based on DBExpress at the moment.

We might release it once it has proven itself in the real world.

I'd love to have one but such hasn't been written yet. Reason is, it is so
easy to write a custom one. Would you want it to create the metadata as well
as populate the table?

Perhaps you can put one together and make it a contribution for the
community.
