EUREKA!!!! I do not know why it is fixed doing this but
it is. The app fired right up. And, yes, I believe you are
right about WinNT. Every time we do anything to change it
we wind up rebooting 8-10 times.
Hosts file did have the correct settings. Services had
the coreect settings. The PCs have been booted several times
but I guess, like you say, NT did not pick up on the Hosts
setting.... :> :> :>
