Subject Re: [IBO] 335544721 and 10061 errors

Helen, (Been trying your suggs)

Server is RECORDS
Database(s) on E:\Data\BikeReg.GDB
String is RECORDS:E:\Data\BIKEREG.GDB
IB 6.01, IBO 4, WinNT4, IB Server running
as service on RECORDS

I use the same string on any other PC in
the network and it works. Also on all
PCs the server drive is mapped with
an alias of W: so the drive can be browsed
(tested browsed).

The same database(s) are openable from all
of the others that have even a test app that
just opens the database and then one table.

It is Monday (here) of course so this is
just another headache that will probably be
due to someone changing something during the
weekend and not telling anyone else.

Also I tried to use IBOConsole and it gets
the Win32 error but I can still see the databases
from other computers. (So the IB Server is running)
And IB Client reinstalled on that PC just
to be safe.

Thanks,
Steve Fields
