I know what you are saying but many people also include peer-to-peer to mean
"the absence of a server focus for file sharing, internet gateway etc"
Many such peer-to-peer networks have one or more of the peers providing
(different) tcp services to the group in a C/S manner but the routing
configuration is still peer-to-peer...
You might have firebird on one machine, a webserver on another machine etc
