Hi Jason, others,
After reading and re-reading the Bundles, Single Modules and
Subscription Policy pages, it's still unclear to me how I should
extend my IBO subscription, which rate applies and what link to
follow.
Last year I bought the Core, Native, Visual and Tools modules. IIRC I
read then that the extension rate is half the original price, to be
paid yearly. But now I can't find that text anywhere, so maybe it
never was there in the first place. I see several mentions about
six-month extension periods, but without prices.
(Half the original price for half a year? Don't see a payment link
anywhere. Full original price for half a year's extension?
Hmmmm... there _are_ links to pay that amount but that would mean
doubling the price.)
I do see one link for a 6-month bundle license extension but that
doesn't apply to my situation, because I didn't buy a bundle.
Or am I supposed to use the Partial Contr. links for extensions?
Seems unlikely, both from what the text says ("for developments that
are unprofitable or...") and from the fact that if you would pay that
for a 6-month extension, you would be better off buying anew for a
year.
Like I said: I'm totally confused here!
Somethinge else (but related): do I understand correctly that buying
an extension gives you the right to keep downloading new (minor)
upgrades, but that you don't need it to continue to develop with the
version you originally bought (including minor upgrades downloaded
during the first year)?
Greetings,
