I'm an IBO newby and still trying to get familiar with these
components.

I do have the KeyLinks property defined manually and the
KeyLinksAutoDefine property set false. I set the Required property on
the fields to false, but unless I put some default value in all
required fields, insertions into the dataset fail. I've defaulted
them and the data can be saved OK.

The other problem I mentioned ("Record cannot be found") was coming
from a bookmark problem. I think it must be from the fact that IBO
uses primary key info as bookmarks, and in this dataset, primary keys
had not been set yet.

I've run into a new puzzle, but I'll save that for another thread.
