Hello,

i bought the full package about 10 days ago, and i am not able to
run it for a while. I can install it "only" on a complete fresh
system, then it runs for a short while, checking samples and at one
point i get message that there is an exception when trying to load
IBO modules and since them i have no chance to rerun/reinstall them.
I am also using Developer Express Package which runs without any
trouble. Down you find again a more detailed description of my
problem.

If i dont get this tool running stable very soon, i am going to
cancel the 518USD payment.

Hi,

i have following problem, i installed the ibo-eval version, started
delphi, everything looked fine, after closing delphi and starting it
again i get following error:

Zugriffsverletzung bei Adresse 400057B0 in Modult rtl70.bpl..
English: Exception at adress 400057B0 at modul rtl70.bpl.

Since this time i am not able to reinstallt his package again. I get
always the same error if i try to install the packages

- I am using a german version of Delphi 7.0 Enterprise
- I havent changed the "IB_Constants.pas" to the german version
- I uninstalled the packages from the delphi components,
deleted all bpl files in the output path and deleted the complete ibo
directory (used root directory)

I am not able to reinstallt hem. I am also using DevExress components
without any problem.

Maybe anyone can help me out here

PS: I had this problem a few days ago and thought maybe my delphi is
corrupt, so i reinstalled my computer from the scratch, but now i
have
the same problem again

maybe my first post was a bit unclear, my english isnt the best:
I bought IBO-Objects now and i have major problems to install it:
I get always the following error (its in german):
Zugriffsverletzung bei Adresse 400057B0 in Modult rtl70.bpl..
Exception at adress 400057BO in modul rtl70.bpl... (english
version)

I have the same problem on 2 machines now. Same installation
procedure, problems starting after following, but first my envoiremtn

WinXP german with all patches
Delphi 7 Enterprise German
Developer Express Package
IBO Objects - Latest version

Installed eval version (didnt buy it at that time) with the install
description. Everything looks fine, i can compile, make and Install
the packages. I close delphi, reopen it, everything still works
fine. I am starting a new project just to connect to a firebird
database. I get an error message, it was just a test, closing delphi
and NOT SAVING the current project, because it was just a test and i
dont need it
Now i am starting delphi again and get message that the ibo
components cannot be opend if i want to try it next time again when
starting delphi. Checking packages in the menu and all except of 1
is not selected. Ok i think maybe i made something wrong, deleted
all ibo objects via the packages menu, and since them i am not able
to install them again...

I tried following to fix it:
- Deleted all ibo files (from my c:\Programme\ibo4) and all files
bpl+dcp files and c:\Programme\Borland\Delphi7\Projects\BPL"
directory. I can compile/make the files and when it comes to install
them i get the error message

- I also added the source path into my paths, just to be sure
everything is correct

- after it still wasnt working, i said ok, maybe the full source
version will work. I bought the complete package, but still the same
effect.

I am getting frustrated, and i have no clue why it isnt working...

PS: Dont take me wrong but why you dont make a version with an
installer, even with the languages and the help files. There would
be much less trouble with an installer. There should be no hand
editing to get the help files running...
