Just a note for those newbies like me. The problem here was that I had
parameters for a couple fields in the Query that were

MediaOutlet like ?pMediaOutlet and then I left those fields blank when I
created test records, which meant they were posted as null values and which
are not like ?pMediaOutlet;

Apparently a simple insert is a simple insert. Thanks Jason.
