I had the same problem a half year ago. Firebird 1.0 on SuSE Linux
7.2 or 7.3. No problems for a few months then I changed I few things
at the configuration. After that every try to register an event
results in hanging the firebird server. There isn't any firewall. I
can't reproduce exactly what I've done. Events didn't work since
then. If someone wants to take a look on the server pls let me know.
