Hi, all !
I found a code snippet on www.ibobjects.com describing how to do client
installation from Delphi app.
Now I've tested this, and I found that the only thing a client application
really needs is having gds32.dll on your path (e.g. system32 dir or in same
directory as .exe file). No registry key, no entry in 'services' file.
It is a hard to be 100% sure, as my machines have all had IB, BDE, etc.
installed and configured.
Am I right about this ?
Regards,
