Ryan,
Nothing special needed. Just place the alias name in the Path property,
fill in Server and Protocol as usual. It's not an IBO version matter at all.

Btw, you don't have to restart the server when you add an alias. You will
have to restart your application, of course.

Peter mentioned including the IP address. You don't.
