Hi Jason,
sorry for reopening this thread. Two weeks ago I installed IBObjects
and made some first steps with it. At first I had some problems
connecting to Firebird (a problem with a corrupted Firebird), but
since one week all was doing well. But at night two days ago I
suddenly got the same problem with IBObjects as Richard told in this
post. The application couldn't connect to any Firebird database.
Recompiling didn't help but crashed with an exception when trying to
load the IBO modules. Since then I had no chance to rerun/reinstall
IBObjects. I tried all he tried (reinstalling Delphi, deleting all
IBO, reinstalling IBO), but at the point where I want to install the
first design time package I get the same error message (translated
into English, I have a German D7Pro):
Exception at adress 400057B0 at modul rtl70.bpl.
At the moment there's no solution for me to get IBObjects to work
without reinstalling my whole machine...which I really don't want to
do. Could you please give me a short description of how you helped
Richard in May 2003?
Oh, maybe you have to know the system information:
WinXP Pro German
Firebird 1.5 RC 7
IBObjects 4.0.3A
Delphi 7 Pro German
English IB_constants.pas
Thanks in advance.
