At least the actual Rave version has support for IBO but it's not as good as
I like.

My approach is always use the non visual components to make the reports,
it's faster than the visual way, and use only the visual editor to create
hightly specialized reports that usually are not table related.

I have made also some test with BDE and you can use the BDE compliant IBO
components to generate Rave reports.
