I'd like to get some opinions on printing. Does it ever occur that you
do _not_ use a reporting tool? For example, print directly to a canvas,
or possibly using a non-DB-related, generic printing tool?

If IBO developers always use DB-savvy reporting tools, that's good to
know.

OTOH if there are exceptions, I'd like to know whether there are any
non-DB-related printing tools to be recommended (other than MS Word).
For example, to implement a print preview.
