I cant really help - but thought I'd let you know that you were not
alone. I tried for a long time to get this sort of thing to work (I
was trying to get scrolling to go all the way to the top of bottom of
the control) and never got it to work. My own memo control still has
great chunks of code commented out and sort of worked but were
inconsistent.

If you want to experiment further write to me privately and I will
send you the code that I was trying.
