i see in FAQ's section your sugestion:
IBOQuery1.ParamByName('IDField').AsInteger :=
GeneratorValue(MyGenerator,100);
or
IBOQuery1.ParamByName('IDField').AsInteger := Gen_ID(MyGenerator,100);
