Standard, easy to setup and operate, no need to develop or adopt
proprietary software, plenty of searching and content management
features in readers (have a look at Agent and XNews, or use Outlook).
While I agree that your idea of a web based application is perfect for
knowledge base and such stuff, I think that a newsgroup is the best you
can do to substitute this support list, or any support list for that
matter.
P.S. WRT the original subject of this thread, I haven't received
anything. I *know* you are not thinking to move just because Lester does
receive some spam from time to time. ;-)
