You most likely have a messed up installation or your package files were not
properly rebuilt.

Or, come to think of it, someone did submit a change in regard to Grid title
alignment but it didn't appear to be such that it would cause design-time
woes. Perhaps I better double check that...

Paul, were those your changes I merged in?

Regarding the 'runtime error 216' I would like a simple little test that
reproduces this.
