Hi,

I have been wordering how do deal with different settings to order CHAR
fields with different language settings. As I looked at many database design
the CharSet and collation are embedded into the database. The application I
want to port to IB was design with Paradox and got some users unhappy about
sorting (Accents, Upper/Lower). It's interface can be used in both french
and english and maybe more in the future using IB. Would anyone have
pointers on character set to use and how to deal with this. Can the
collation be overridden in the application on the fly, etc.
