Hi
I wasn't sure to post this here or the interbase group - but it may
be a delphi/ibobjects problem.
I installed Firebird 1.0.0 RC2 over interbase5.0 following the
instructions in the readme for a snapshot install.
IBServer is running, I can see the database with IBConsole - but my
D5 IBO4.2Eg app gives the error 'Interbase Client GDS32.dll not
Installed' when I try to connect the tIBODatabase.
One point in the readme - copy('make sure you have the INTERBASE
environment variable defined as a
system variable (not user).')
I did not see any such variable anywhere - could this be the problem -
if so how do I set this up
If not - any other things to try. (I did restart my computer )
Thanks - Rod
