What's wrong?
I've discovered some nasty bugs or "misbehaviour" that I've descrived,
for my future reference, in 3 pages of italian text regardsing
lookupscombo that DO work outside the grid, but DOES NOT when dropped
into the grid.
Anyway, try to:
a) set DisplayField to the field the lookup is linked to (i.e.
customer_id)
b) DisplayField without table name (not customer.customer_id but only
customer_id)
c) if you have KeyDescLinks set, use the syntax:
BRANCH.DESCRIPTION=BRANCHDESCRIPTION
and not like
BRANCH.DESCRIPTION=EMPLOYEE.BRANCHDESCRIPTION
otherwise the lookup will not appear in the grid.
Sorry, but I'm in a hurry and the 3 italian pages should be read much
more carefully to understand all the situations that are wrong, and I
should test them again against the last IBO release.
